I moved from Florida to Alabama 6 months ago. I recently received a form from the Florida republican party to request a mail-in vote form. The trouble is that this form was not forwarded to me but was addressed directly to me in Springville, AL.
I called and verified that I am still on the voter list in Florida, which I am. So..... I mailed in the request form to vote by mail. This is a test of just how crooked they are. If I receive the mail-in vote form to vote in Florida at a Springville, AL address, then I will know for certain just how crooked they are.
My personal dilemna? I would prefer voting in Florida because even though I am a registered republican, I have every intention of voting for Senator Kerry and my vote would have more of an impact in FL. Guess I have to think on that. (Besides, who would bail me out?)

From a reader:
The firm mentioned in Paul Krugman's editorial, Sproul & Associates is run by Nathan Sproul, a former head of the Republican Party in Arizona who has subcontracted with the Republican National Committee to do voter outreach efforts. They are also being implicated with destroying registration forms in Chandler, AZ. From purging of the voter rolls, to faulty voting machines, to destroying registration forms.
Hi,
We are canvassing for Move-on Pac in Bexley, Ohio (Columbus). Several of the 114 contacts we have had in the last couple of days have told us that they sent for absentee ballots and have not received them. Today, we got a call from an individual we instructed to call the Board of Elections, and the super of the Board.
He was told that his ballot had been mailed on Monday. Today is Thursday and he has not received it. The ballot could have walked from downtown to Bexley in that amount of time.
